This Privacy Policy is crafted in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022 of Sri Lanka.

Welcome to BroadcastMySelf ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal data is handled in accordance with Sri Lankan law.

1. Data Collection

We believe in data minimization. We collect only what is strictly necessary for the App to function:

Audio Data: We process audio from your microphone locally on your device to enable streaming. We do not store or upload your audio recordings to our servers.
Server Credentials: We do not collect, access, or transmit your server credentials. Hostnames, ports, and passwords are saved directly and only on your device (encrypted) for the sole purpose of connecting to your station.
Usage Data: We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect anonymous data about app stability and feature usage (e.g., "stream_started", "crash_report").

2. Processing and Purpose (Section 6 - PDPA)

We process your data strictly for the following purposes:

To provide the core functionality of audio streaming and recording.
To improve app stability and identify bugs (using anonymized crash logs).
To manage your "Premium" or "Free" subscription status.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your sensitive data (like server passwords) is stored using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences, ensuring it remains secure on your device. We do not maintain a central database of user audio or credentials.

4. Your Rights (Rights of Data Subjects)

Under the PDPA No. 9 of 2022, you have the right to:

Access: Request information about the personal data we hold (which is minimal).
Erasure: You can clear all app data by uninstalling the application or clearing storage in Android settings.
Withdraw Consent: You can opt-out of analytics processing or uninstall the app at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics). Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.
